We thought these were the original Kimba episodes; turns out we were wrong. Of course, they're much better than those recut versions with new stories and Joisey accents on the soundtrack, and apparently the next best thing. Customer and Kimba fan Craig Andersen explained the mystery for us:

"Believe me, the original soundtracks with Tomita's music and Billie Lou Watt's voice for Kimba are emblazoned on my brain. These tapes WERE re-written AND re-scored by a Canadian outfit. The original soundtracks appear to be tied up in all kinds of rights battles."

Each tape contains two episodes and is 45 minutes long. All four volumes are available at $6.99 each. Please remember to add postage: $4.95 for the first tape; $5.95 for two; 3 tapes - $6.45; 4 tapes - $6.95 in the Continental US...
