The newest installment of Grindhouse Follies, a feature-length compilation, features (about three-quarters of the way in) four Page loops - two new to video - under the rubric Teaser Girl in High Heels. Bettie primps on a satin couch, dances in a familiar fringed bikini, dresses to go out in opera gloves, and shows off "optical illusion" undies. Title cards are backwards, but who's reading? The beginning bit with a dancer is actually accompanied by some burlesque comedians instead of music!

Also appearing are Marinette And Andre, Nola Lee, Doris Machenzie, Pat Lombard, Betty Tunell, Anne Slayton and Mr. America; comedians Jack Diamond, Mandy Kay and Charles Harris; strippers Lili St. Cyr, Georgia Sothern, Rosita Royce... and of course Bettie Page in a daring bubble bath scene.... The real find is the b/w booklet that accompanies it, with neat and very high quality stills throughout.
