THE CLASSIC COMEDY TEAM
IN LIVE KINESCOPES
FROM THEIR EARLY TV YEARS!

226 THE BURNS AND ALLEN SHOW, I

Here are George and Gracie LIVE in four incredibly rare kinescope performances. These shows aired once, and were never rerun again!
1. OCTOBER 12, 1950: Here it is - the VERY FIRST TELEVISION PERFORMANCE of George and Gracie. George introduces the cast to the audience. Hal March and Bea Benaderet appear as the Mortons. Bill Goodwin announces. All original Carnation commercials are intact. This is a real collector's item!
2. APRIL 12, 1951: Gracie entertains a visiting teenage relative, and George can't get used to the current young fads. Bea Benaderet and John Brown appear as the Mortons; all commercials are intact.
3. OCTOBER 23, 1951: Gracie has the monthly meeting of her Beverly Hills Uplifting Society at her house; George wants no part of this cackling bunch of frumps and cronies. Bea Benaderet and Fred Clark appear as the Mortons; original commercials are included.
4. FEBRUARY 18, 1952: Gracie falls down in a dept. store, and the owners fear that she'll sue them.
--- 115 MINUTES --- $19.99 --- BLACK AND WHITE ---

240 THE BURNS AND ALLEN SHOW, II (1950/1952)

More live fun with George and Gracie. All shows on this tape contain original Carnation commercials. Not seen in 40 years!
1. NOVEMBER 2, 1950: The bank tries to explain to Gracie that her checking account is overdrawn, but somehow she doesn't understand!
2. NOVEMBER 16, 1950: Bob Sweeney is seen as a tax auditor who's assigned to monitor Gracie!
3. MAY 30, 1952: Gracie's nieces pay a visit to the Burns household, just in time to keep George from writing a speech.
4. JULY 2, 1952: It's time for Gracie to renew her driver's license, so heaven help the DMV!
--- 120 MINUTES --- $19.99 --- BLACK AND WHITE ---

257 THE BURNS AND ALLEN SHOW, III (1951/52)

The first three contain original commercials!
1. JANUARY 4, 1951: Gracie has the word "party" circled on her calendar, and assumes she's having a party for George; she's knows it's not his birthday; so she creates a day for him. Watch for a surprise ending featuring a very special guest star! This episode is the first to star John Brown in the role of Harry Morton. George breaks character to introduce him. (Note: sound is a bit scratchy.)
2. AUGUST 2, 1951: The girls go on a health kick and decide to serve nothing but fruits and vegetables. George and Harry (played by Fred Clark) are not happy.
3. SEPTEMBER 13, 1951: Gracie throws a wedding at the Burnses' for a friend's daughter, and drives the caterer, the florist, the participants, and all else crazy in the process. Once again, George stops the action and introduces Harry Von Zell as the show's new announcer!
4. 1952: A studio wants to produce a film on the lives of George and Gracie - that is, until Gracie gets involved!
--- 115 MINUTES --- $19.99 --- BLACK AND WHITE ---
