Easy Living
(1937) Please note: a few folks asked for this video after we first listed it, and we had apparently made a mistake. There is a film called Easy Living on video, but it is not the Preston Sturges one. We apologize for misleading anyone...

George Washington Slept Here
(1942) Jack Benny and Ann Sheridan take over a fixer-upper; based on the Kaufman & Hart play.
91 min., B/W, $19.98

A Girl, A Guy, and a Gob
(1941) Harold Lloyd produced this slapsticky romantic triangle involving Lucille Ball, George Murphy and Edmond O'Brien. Pangborn is along for even more comic relief.
91 min., B/W, $14.95

The Great Moment
(1944) This took two years to release after being taken away from writer/director Preston Sturges. A dramedy biopic about a pioneering anesthesiologist, gathering Pangborn with reliable folks like William Demarest for a great, if oddly used, cast.
83 min., B/W, $14.98

The Great Moment/Hail The Conquering Hero
Laser Double Feature, $59.98

Hail The Conquering Hero
(1944) Another Sturges gathering of regulars, this time perfectly on the mark: Pangborn, Demarest, Conlin, Bracken and everyone in a four-star farce. Pangborn mistakes 4-F Bracken for a war hero and things just barrel on from there.
101 min., B/W, $14.98

International House
(1933) Almost sci-fi vaudeville brings a gaggle of multimedia stars to a vaguely Oriental hotel for a TV show! Pangborn is just one of the glitzy crowd: W. C. Fields, Burns & Allen, Bela Lugosi, Rudy Vallee, Sterling (Winnie the Pooh) Holloway and - to top it off - the late, great Cab Calloway singing "Reefer Man!"
70 min., B/W, Laser: $34.98; VHS: $14.98

My Dream Is Yours
(1949) Pangborn and Edgar "Slow Burn" Kennedy co-star in this musical, with Doris Day on the road to radio success. Watch for the Bugs Bunny dream sequence.
101 min., Color, $29.98

My Man Godfrey
(1936) Pangborn is just part of the madness cooked up by Gregory LaCava, with Carole Lombard hiring William Powell as a butler. Morrie Ryskind worked on the script.
95 min., B/W, $19.98

Romance on the High Seas
(1948) This musical is best known for the screen debut of Doris Day, stealing the show from headliners Jack Carter and Janis Paige.
99 min., Color, $29.98

Romance on the High Seas/My Dream Is Yours
Laser Double Feature, $39.98

Stage Door
(1937) Pangborn is one of very few men in a veritable boarding house of rising and well-known female stars. Katherine Hepburn, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden, and Ann Miller are just the most famous. Directed by LaCava, based on a Ferber/Kaufman play.
92 min., B/W, $19.98
