This searchable database combines over 8,000 VHS titles from the many Public Domain labels we offer. We have combined catalogs from folks you may already know about and order from like Sinister Cinema, Timeless Video, and Video Classics. We have updated this database with VCI, KINO, Festival Films, Nostalgia Family Discount, and Englewood. The object was to get most of the silent and early talkies together in one place. We tried to weed out as many duplicates and oddball titles as possible. However, you still may find a few later era titles popping up, considering some of these labels have catch as catch can product lines. The real highlight of these titles are silents, but you can also find exploitation, juvenile, horror, and other genres.

If you need a list of performer's names included in this database you can find one in the Names Database instead of plugging in one name at a time here. That may save you some time, and help if you need a spell check. (There are over 4,000 names in the list so the page is pretty big!)

There are over 1,500 Silent shorts and features included in this database. Of those about 400 are compilation tapes consisting of over 1,300 titles. (Over 2,000 tapes are from 1930 to 1950, including a lot of horror and exploitation films. Over 1,100 are from the late 1955 to 1965 and are mostly low budget horror and exploitation films.)
